UPTET 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Primary Level (Class 1 to 5)
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university along with BTC / D.El.Ed / B.El.Ed or equivalent teacher training qualification.
Upper Primary Level (Class 6 to 8)
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks along with B.Ed / BTC / B.El.Ed / Special Education or equivalent qualification.
Final year candidates are also eligible to apply (as per rules).
